Ukrainian revolution is ongoing for the second day with tens of thousands of people protesting in downtown Kyiv and in other cities all over Ukraine and several administrative buildings taken by protesters.

Massive rally against Ukrainian current authorities and President Victor Yanukovich has started in Ukraine on Sunday, 1 December, after riot police and security forces have violently beaten the peaceful protesters in the sit-in on Independence Square in Kyiv. According to the estimations of the journalists and participants of the protests there were between 750 thousand and 1 million people in Ukrainian capital. Tens of thousands of Ukrainians are protesting in other cities as well including Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and other cities, even in Southern and Eastern regions, the regions traditionally supporting Victor Yanukovich and his political power.

Egyptian activists and representatives and members of revolutionary groups have gathered on Monday, 18 November, to commemorate the victims of Mohamed Mahmoud Street clashes.

Protesters have clashed with the police and security forces on Mohamed Mahmoud Street leading to the headquarters of Egypt’s Ministry of Interior on 19 November 2011, just a week ahead of the planned parliamentary elections. 47 people were killed and hundreds injured as a result of the deadly clashes, many people were injured critically as security forces have been shooting live ammunition and bird shots targeting the heads and eyes of the protesters. Egypt’s military, SCAF (Supreme Council of the Armed Forces) was in power that time, after Hosni Mubarak stepped down.

The supporters of Egypt’s recently ousted President Mohamed Morsy who hails from Muslim Brotherhood have announced about their plans to hold the massive rallies in support of Morsy on Sunday, 7 July.

The Alliance in Support of Legitimacy, recently formed and united several Islamist political powers and parties, is calling for the Morsy supporters to gather in the streets and squares of Egypt to support the legitimacy of Mohamed Morsy for his presidential post.

Tens of thousands of people gathering in Cairo's Tahrir Square

Thousands of demonstrators in several Egyptian governorates including capital Cairo and the biggest cities started to gather for the planned massive rallies against Egyptian President and Islamists rule on 30 June even the hours before the beginning of the day.

In Cairo tens of thousands of people have gathered in the iconic Tahrir Square with the thousands of the new protesters arriving to the square and to the Presidential Palace from different districts of the city. The numbers of the protesters in Tahrir and in Downtown Cairo are currently near 3 million people, according to the reports.

Ahead of the planned for 30 June actions against current President of Egypt Mohamed Morsy and his policies Egypt faces the wave of massive demonstrations in Cairo and nationwide.

The opposition headed by the ideas of the nationwide massive “Rebel” campaign which has reportedly gathered more than 15 million signatures against Mohamed Morsy prepares for the massive protests on 30 June, the anniversary of the Morsy’s presidential term.

The opponents of Morsy’s regime and his rule have gathered today in Cairo’s Tahrir Square heading there from different districts of Cairo and called for Morsy to step down. The protesters have been chanting against his failed policies and accusing him and his government of failing to fulfill the revolutionary demands and also the promises of Morsy’s presidential campaign.

A few hundreds of anti-Brotherhood protesters have gathered today at the headquarters of the Islamist group situated in Cairo’s Mokattam after several oppositional and revolutionary political groups and parties have recently called for the demonstrations against the rule of Islamist group.

The groups joining the protests include Free Egyptian Party, Constitution Party, Egyptian Social Democratic party (all of them are also part of National Salvation Front) and others. Egypt’s influential organization April 6thYouth Movement has also taken part in the protests gathering in New Cairo, in front of the home of Egypt’s President Mohammed Morsy, who hails from Muslim Brotherhood.
