EgyptAir passenger plane crash over Mediterranean: no theory should be ruled out at the moment as the investigation is ongoing

Ahram-Online materials - CAIRO: An EgyptAir flight vanished early this morning en route from Paris to Cairo. Radar signals from flight MS804 were lost at 2:30am Cairo time, EgyptAir have said, around the time the flight entered Egyptian airspace over the Mediterranean.

The commercial flight left Paris at 11:09pm GMT and was due to land at Cairo airport at 03:15am local time.

Sources told Al-Ahram Arabic website that air traffic controllers in Athens had failed to establish communication with the pilot after the plane went off the radar.

ISIS has at least 400 fighters trained to carry out deadly attacks in Europe

Terrorist group ISIS has trained more than 400 fighters to carry out deadly terrorist attacks in European countries in the waves, deploying interlocking terror cells like the cells that planned and carried out recent attacks in Paris and Brussels, according to the European intelligence services' reports. These terrorist cells will be able to plan the attacks on their own, without coordination with Raqqa or any other ISIS stronghold in Syria and Iraq, and these group will be also able to chose the location, time and method of the attacks, the reports state.

Reuters,Al-Arabiya - PARIS: French fighter jets launched their biggest raids in Syria to date targeting the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) stronghold in Raqqa just two days after the group claimed coordinated attacks in Paris that killed more than 130 people, the defence ministry said.

“The raid ... including 10 fighter jets, was launched simultaneously from the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Twenty bombs were dropped,” the statement said, adding that the mission had taken place this evening.

French capital Paris was hit by a wave of coordinated terrorist attacks on Friday, 13 November, leaving at least 132 people dead. This attack is the deadliest terrorist attack in Europe since 2004 train bombings in Madrid.

The attacks happened almost simultaneously at six different locations in the French capital and were well planned and coordinated. A massive explosion went off at the stadium Stade de France in the Northern part of Paris, where the friendly France-Germany football play was happening at the moment. French President Francois Hollande and many French and German officials were present at the game. A suicide bomber reportedly blew himself off at one of the gates of the Stadium. The number of people killed at this attack is still not mentioned by the French police. French President was immediately evacuated from the Stadium and headed for the emergency meeting with his Cabinet in order to deal with this situation. People were safely evacuated from the stadium a couple of hours later.

After a terrible attack launched by three gunmen against an editorial office of French satirical magazine “Charlie Hebdo” in Paris that left 12 people dead and several people wounded, some of them critically, events turned really dramatically in France, as the Wednesday’s 7 January Charlie Hebdo attack was followed by the series of other terrorist acts in some French cities and a hostage crisis happened on Friday, 9 January.

Thus, three gunmen shouting Islamic slogans and shouting that they “avenged the Prophet” broke in the editorial office of a satirical magazine “Charlie Hebdo”, known for its sharp and controversial cartoons, often attacking and insulting religions, particularly Islam. They opened random fire on the journalists working at the office and left the scene fast, killing two policemen. Wednesday’s attack left 10 journalists of “Charlie Hebdo”, including its editor in chief, dead. 12 people together with two murdered policemen were killed as a result of an attack.
