Amid unstable and tense political situation in Egypt with continuous
protests organized by Muslim Brotherhood Egypt’s Interim President Adly Mansour
holds a meeting with the representatives of different political powers and
forces of the country on Sunday, 15 September.
The meeting has been held at the Ittihadiya Presidential Palace located
in Cairo’s Heliopolis early on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of different political
currents and movements of Egypt including Constitution Party, Wafd Party,
Conference Party, Popular Current, Popular Alliance Party, Democratic Front
Party and others. Islamist forces were represented by the Salafist Al-Nour
Party.
This meeting has been held along with the series of meeting held between
the representatives of various political forces of Egypt and Presidential media
adviser Ahmed El-Muslimany.
The participants of the meetings have been planning to discuss the
political, social and economical situation in the country and also the deep
political crisis and the possible ways to resolve it and to stabilize the
situation in Egypt.
After the meeting of the Interim President and the representatives of
the country’s political forces the press conference was planned. The
press-conference aimed to review the results of the meeting held earlier and
was chaired by President’s official spokesperson Ihab Badawy.
