Polish opposition does not believe in the official version of terrible crash near Smolensk which happened on 10 April 2010. This catastrophe took life of 96 people including eight members of the plane’s crew and 88 passengers. Polish President Lech Kaczyński together with his family and high state’s officials were among the victims of this crash.

Polish oppositional party “Law and Justice” published its own report regarding the reasons of the catastrophe with the Presidential liner TU-154 near Russian Smolensk. This report’ is named “Twenty eight months after the tragedy” and was published on the official website of the oppositional group.

The document contains of 169 pages which are rejecting the conclusions and version of the official investigation of the tragic events.

We would remind that according to the official version of the investigation bad weather conditions and pilot’s mistake were the reasons of the crash. But the report of the oppositional group claims the reason of the clash was the series of explosions which happened on the board of the airplane. Those conclusions were apparently made after the special investigation and examination.

It was said in the report that the reconstruction of the events was made, and according to this reconstruction and examination the most probable reason of the tragedy were the explosions on the board of the airplane. Those explosions reportedly destroyed the airplane when it was still in the air. It means that either the pilots or the bad weather conditions bear responsibility for the crash, but rather some unidentified persons, claims the report.

The authors of this project reminded also that the catastrophe happened on the background of political battle between Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Lech Kaczyński.

The report of Polish opposition also states that even very strong clash with the tree could not cause such damages of the presidential airplane as destroying of its wing. Parametric recorder allegedly registered two strong shakes on the board. The explosion inside of the airplane could be the only one logical explanation of the consequences which could be observed on the pictures of the crashed airplane, announces the expert’s report.

In addition to that the character of the plane’s damages and the passengers’ injuries, the radius where the rests of the liner were founded and also the reports of the eyewitnesses could testify in favor of the explosion’s version, stress the experts who published the report.
