Julia Tymoshenko addressed to the European politicians

Julia Tymoshenko, Ukrainian ex-Prime Minister

Eugenia Tymoshenko, daughter of Ukrainian ex-Prime Minister Julia Tymoshenko, announced today during the meeting of the leaders of the International Organization of the centrist democrats (CDI) in Rome the statement of Julia Tymoshenko addressed to the European politicians.

Ukrainian jailed oppositional leader addressed in this statement to all the leaders of the democratic countries, international organizations and groups working for freedom and strengthening of democracy in the world. Her statement was also addressed to all Ukrainians.

“I’m referring to the democratic world and asking to support the position of those politicians who are calling to the world not to lie to themselves and not to believe in the possibility of the fair and transparent parliamentary election in Ukraine”, - Mrs. Tymoshenko said in her statement. – “This election is falsified from the very beginning”, - added she.

Mrs. Tymoshenko is completely sure that it is necessary to fight this corrupt power and dictatorship in Ukraine before the upcoming parliamentary election, before it is not too late. Ex-Prime Minister stresses that the fair election is hardly to imagine in Ukraine under current circumstance, and in case the authorities will win the majority of the seats in the future parliament, it will be very hard to limit this dictatorship, thinks Mrs. Tymoshenko.

There were eight prime ministers of different countries among the participants of this meeting including Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy, Prime Minister of Greece Antonis Samaras, Prime Minister of Ireland Enda Kenny and Speaker of the Italian Parliament Gianfranco Fini. All of them expressed their support and solidarity with the Ukrainian oppositional leader Mrs. Tymoshenko.

It is worth mentioning here that the CDI is the powerful and influential international organization which includes the important democratic powers and parties of the whole world.
