Israel
stated that it is completely ready for the 30-days war with Iran.
According
to Matan Vilnai, Israeli Minister for Home Front Defense, the possible war will
be held on the few fronts and will take nearly 30 days. He also stressed Israel
is now ready for the military actions more than it was ever before in the
history of the country.
US
Secretary of Defense Leon Penetta stated earlier that Israel haven’t taken yet
the final decision whether it will attack the Iranian nuclear objects or not.
He also stressed that there is still the possibility to regulate the Iranian
nuclear problem in a diplomatic way, through negotiations.
General
Martin E. Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of US Armed Forces, is
in his turn sure that the Israeli air attack against Iranian nuclear objects
will not lead to the full liquidation of the Tehran’s nuclear program, if Iran
really works for creating the nuclear weapon, as Israel stresses.
The situation
in the region is extremely tense now, and the threat of the war between Israel
and Iran is very strong, although US still tries to influence Israel that the
diplomatic way of regulation of the conflict would be preferable.
